Privacy & Newsletter Consent

How this portal uses subscription and assessment information.

Assessment data

Assessment answers are stored in your browser, not sent to this portal’s database. Anyone using that browser may be able to access saved responses. Avoid entering personal or sensitive details and use Reset to remove local answers.

Newsletter subscriptions

We store your email, consent time and subscription status to provide opted-in updates. Confirmation is required before campaign delivery. You can unsubscribe using the link in each email or contact info@chainofresponsibility.au. Email delivery uses Resend; AI newsletter drafting uses Replit-managed OpenAI. Subscriber addresses are not supplied to AI drafting.

Translation assistance

Public webpage text may be processed by an AI translation service. Protected subscriber/admin data is not translated. Assisted translations are labelled and should be reviewed before safety reliance.

Admin access

Editorial accounts use Clerk authentication. Only authorised administrators may manage subscriber records. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your subscription information.

Source and scope

Read the official 2026 Master Code and registered Code PDF. This independent CoR Australia guidance illustrates controls and evidence to consider; it is not the regulator’s publication, an exhaustive checklist, legal advice or a compliance certificate. Select controls for your circumstances so far as is reasonably practicable. The HVNL operates in participating jurisdictions, not Western Australia or the Northern Territory.

Optional first-party analytics

Analytics is off unless you choose Accept in Analytics preferences. We collect consenting public page paths, link target hostnames and paths, referral hostnames, broad viewport/device categories and timestamps. A random browser identifier is retained on your device for up to 90 days; events are deleted after 90 days. We do not record IP addresses in the analytics database, URL query strings, assessment answers, evidence, emails or private/admin content. There is no cross-device identification or third-party analytics tracker added by this portal. Do Not Track prevents collection. You may withdraw consent using Analytics preferences in the footer: this immediately stops tracking and removes your browser identifier. Previously collected pseudonymous events remain until their 90-day expiry. Hosting-provider analytics, if separately enabled by the publisher, is a separate service and is not combined with these dashboard figures.

Detailed assessment reports

Before releasing a detailed report, we collect your first name, last name, company, email and mobile phone number with your privacy acknowledgement. These contact details are stored in the portal database and accessible only to authorised administrators, to provide your report and respond to assessment enquiries. Assessment answers and evidence notes remain in your browser and are not submitted with the contact form. This does not enrol you in newsletters. To request access, correction or deletion of contact details, email info@chainofresponsibility.au.

Contact enquiries

Contact forms collect your name, email, service interest and message, and any company or phone details you choose to provide, with a privacy acknowledgement. These are stored in the portal database for authorised administrators to respond to your enquiry. Avoid including sensitive personal information. This does not subscribe you to newsletters. To request access, correction or deletion, contact info@chainofresponsibility.au.
